*Not that SHE straight up said it, but for the record, Dr. Darrin Porcher is NOT Wendy Williams’ new boyfriend. At least that’s what he’s telling folks.
This news comes in the wake of a report claiming Porcher, a former cop and criminal justice expert was dating Williams, the Doctor told Page Six that they’re not an item, although he joked he wished they were.
“It’s flattering to hear, but it’s not the case,” he said. “I’m in a relationship. I just worked security for her for a couple of weeks after she filed for divorce.”
Porcher’s account lines up with Page Six’s April report that Williams, 54, beefed up security to protect her from her estranged husband Kevin Hunter.
“She wanted someone with an air of legitimacy. But that’s where it ends, I’m happily in a relationship right now.”

These days, Porcher who works as a professor at Pace University and appeared on Williams’ show in the past as a correspondent, joked he wouldn’t mind being the TV host’s arm candy.
“I wish that was the case, but I shouldn’t say that because I do have somebody,” he joked. “I should say, fortunately, that’s not the case.”
As we reported, on Monday’s episode of her show, Williams revealed that she is dating a doctor in his 50s, saying:
“I’m not in love but there’s somebody that I’m crazy about.”
