Tamera Mowry-Housley: My mom… when we were growing up… she said, listen, “You’re a woman. So you’re gonna have to work a little extra hard. And not only that, you’re a black woman. You’re going to have to work double-hard.” So right now, I get a sense or a glimpse of hope that my daughter will not be seen as second place because she is dark, black and – dark meaning black – and that she’s a woman. She can do anything that she wants to do.

Tamera: No one’s going to look at her as, “Oh, you’re different. You can’t do that.” You know? So that, that is, that is beautiful, that is refreshing, that is exciting. And I’m just so happy that these women have spoken up! And I really believe that #TimesUp is an answer to #MeToo. So guys, never ever stop, like Oprah said, speaking your truth.
Jeannie Mai: Yes.
Tamera: That is the greatest tool that you can do.
