Queen Quet Acknowledges The Rutledge Sisters Final Collection: ‘Melanated Queens Around the World’

*(Atlanta, GA) – The models/actors collectively known as the Rutledge Sisters and more widely known as the “Superhero Sisters” recently received royal acknowledgement for their final photo recreation tribute entitled “Melanated Queens Around the World,” when the collection caught the attention of the one living queen in the tribute and leader of the Gullah Nation, Queen Quet.

Queen Quet, the leader of the Gullah Geechee Nation, reached out to the models/actresses when she noticed the photo on Facebook. She corresponded with the girls and then shared their work with her nation by posting a special acknowledgement on the nations official page. The Rutledge Sisters say:

“We were ecstatic to be acknowledged by Queen Quet, this is the perfect ending for our projects.”
