In an earlier edition of EUR, we told about Lester Holt‘s plans to become a wedding singer after his newsman days are over. Well, The “NBC Nightly News” anchor was seen Sunday night on stage at the Hill Country BBQ joint in NYC singing Bill Withers’ classic song, “Lovely Day.” Umm, err, based on how he sounded, some would advise Lester to think twice about a singing career. He also lost points for having to check his lyrics sheet a few times during the set.

You can just call them the King and Queen of Comedy! Kevin Hart and Tiffany Haddish have teamed up in the upcoming comedy, “Night School.” The film follows Teddy (Hart) and a group of misfits, who are forced to attend night school in order to earn their GED. Haddish plays Carrie, their tough teacher. Check out the trailer above. It’s hoot! ?

Finally, a Houston, TX area woman nearly lost her life after she was run over by thieves who attempted to snatch her purse containing $75,000 in cash. Yes, you read that right. She was run over. The wild surveillance video shows the woman arriving to a Valero gas station she co-owns with her husband. Seconds later a robber hopped out of a black SUV and attempted to snatch her purse, but she held on to the purse for dear life, reports SandraRose.
As the woman fought with the robber, her husband saw the attempted robbery and dashed outside to help her. Another thug approached and joined the melee as all three rolled around on the ground trying to gain control of the purse.
One thug dragged the woman along the asphalt while another robber fought with her husband. Eventually the SUV backed over the woman and dragged her but she still refused to release her grip on the purse.
