*We have to admit that until last night this Michelle Wolf chick wasn’t on our radar. Well she is now. And we suspect she’s on a lot of other folk’s as well. If you missed it, the comedian was the roaster for Saturday night’s White House Correspondent’s Dinner. Let’s put it this way, home girl took her job very seriously. She didn’t take any prisoners on the Trump Administration … and the press, to for creating the monster.
We don’t know what was on the menu at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, but Comedian Michelle Wolfe took the podium gave the entire Trump administration a good roast.
Of course she roasted Trump and the Stormy Daniels mess, but what trippn’ folks out the most were her brutal jokes about press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders who was there instead of the orange a-hole in the White House. Here’s one of Wolf’s comments.
“We are graced with Sarah’s presence tonight. I have to say I’m a little star-struck. I love you as Aunt Lydia in The Handmaid’s Tale. Mike Pence, if you haven’t seen it, you would love it.”
The “Aunt Lydia” reference is to a fearsome character from the dystopian Hulu series “The Handmaid’s Tale” who re-educates women into subjugation and enforces strict punishment on them.

Wolf wasn’t through. She added this, too:
“Every time Sarah steps up to the podium, I get excited, because I’m not really sure what we’re going to get — you know, a press briefing, a bunch of lies or divided into softball teams. “It’s shirts and skins, and this time don’t be such a little bitch, Jim Acosta!”
“I actually really like Sarah. I think she’s very resourceful. She burns facts, and then she uses that ash to create a perfect smoky eye. Like maybe she’s born with it, maybe it’s lies. It’s probably lies.”
“And I’m never really sure what to call Sarah Huckabee Sanders, you know? Is it Sarah Sanders, is it Sarah Huckabee Sanders, is it Cousin Huckabee, is it Auntie Huckabee Sanders? Like, what’s Uncle Tom but for white women who disappoint other white women? Oh, I know. Aunt Coulter.”
Whoo Lawd, that was brutal. Some folks (Republicans?) couldn’t take anymore and left the event.
As you can imagine, Twitter was on fire with comments about roasting and the roaster. Chief among them was you-know-who:
While Washington, Michigan, was a big success, Washington, D.C., just didn’t work. Everyone is talking about the fact that the White House Correspondents Dinner was a very big, boring bust…the so-called comedian really “bombed.” @greggutfeld should host next year! @PeteHegseth

Trump wasn’t the only one who took issue with Wolf’s routine. She got incoming — some of it bipartisan — over her barbs at Sanders, who sat nearby at the head table as Wolf, according to critics, crossed the line:
That @PressSec sat and absorbed intense criticism of her physical appearance, her job performance, and so forth, instead of walking out, on national television, was impressive.

The WHCD was supposed to celebrate the 1st Amendment. Instead they celebrated bullying, vulgarity, and hate. They got all dressed up so they would look nicer when they had a hired gun savagely attack their guests. Do they really wonder why America has no respect for them? Sad!

Apology is owed to @PressSec and others grossly insulted ny Michelle Wolf at White House Correspondents Assoc dinner which started with uplifting heartfelt speech by @margarettalev – comedian was worst since Imus insulted Clinton’s

On the other hand, there was plenty of love for Wolf, too.
Kudos to @michelleisawolf for making the #WHCD circle jerk as painful and awkward is it deserved to be.

Also, how self-regarding do you have to be to invite a comedian & then get upset that she makes jokes about the rich, famous, powerful people in the room? And how irrational do you have to be to think a comedian at a DC event is supposed to be reverent & sober in *the Trump era*?

Comedian ends comedy dinner by saying that Flint still doesn’t have clean water, an attempt to point out Washington’s continued neglect of people who need help.
Washington responds with a rigorous debate about the tone and civility of the comedian’s jokes.
Perfect.

So NOW you know who Michele Wolf is. Well, kinda, sorta. Oh yeah, inj case you’re wondering, she claims she’s NOT biracial and she’s not trying be another Rachel Dolezal. In any event, the buzz surrounding the fierce comedian gives her some serious pub and name recognition ahead of her Netflix show, The Break (premiering Sunday, May 27). Plus, Trump gets more carp to make up about elites being out of touch, etc.
