*Judge Genece Brinkley has once again denied Meek Mill’s request for bail so it looks like the rapper will serve out his full sentence behind bars.

Meek’s chances for release on bail seemed high after evidence surfaced that his arresting officer in 2007 was suspected of corruption. He has been in jail since November for probation violation.

According to reports, Meek’s lawyer, Joe Tacopina, and his team insist that Brinkley has a personal vendetta against his client. Tacopina states:

“In spite of the recommendations from the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office, which was supported by Governor Tom Wolf, the judge continues to stand alone in supporting Officer Reginald Graham’s perjured testimony as well as his criminal behavior that has been documented.”

Brinkley has denied any wrongdoing in the case and defends giving Meek a 2-4 year sentence. She notes that it was his 5th probation violation and Meek has admitted to turning his nose up to the court via his drug use and failing to adhere to travel protocol.

The rapper’s legal team plans to appeal to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
