*In a newly released clip called “Kinetic Energy,” fans see Black Panther’s suit absorbing energy from bullets, and one viewer described it as “one minute of action-packed dopeness.”
The teaser shows Chadwick Boseman transform from his character’s street clothes to the powerful Black Panther persona. The clip from the upcoming movie was recently shown during an episode of Ellen.
In the scene, as noted by wired.com, Black Panther is in pursuit of (or being pursued by) some people in another car. As he rides on top of a car while being pelted with bullets, the driver of his high-tech vehicle (Letitia Wright) says: “Hey look at the suit! You’ve been taking bullets—charging it up with kinetic energy.”
After “charging up” the suit, Black Panther uses an energy burst to flip over the pursuing car.
Viewers are also treated to a glimpse of Wakanda’s urban night-time landscape.
