*Bel Air, CA – The home of Christian singer-songwriter, Israel Hougton and his wife, television personality Adrienne Hougton, is full of love and excitement as Israel celebrates his newest project, Road to Demaskus.
Their beautiful home is warm and welcoming as they prepare for a special night of live performances, previewing several songs from the much-anticipated album. The small and intimate guestlist includes celebrities Michelle Williams, Erica and Warren Campbell, Amber Riley, Major, Ravaughn and others.
The celebratory night began with networking over drinks and hors devours with Israel Hougton’s music playing as the soundtrack over conversations being had about him and how talented he is. Half way through the night, guests began to get comfortable in the formal living area adorned with a black grand piano, complete with Israel’s 6 Grammy awards placed on top. As the band settles in, Adrienne addressed the group of family, friends, and media with a sincere ‘thank you’ and kudos to her husband of two years, saying:
“I don’t just love him because I love him. I love him because he’s an incredible man.” She continues, “I’m proud of you and I think that you sharing your journey and your road to Demaskus is really gonna change lives.”

The album opens with a duo from Israel and Adrienne entitled “Secrets” that the audience quickly learned and began to participate with singing the lyrics. Other songs such as “Easy for You,” “Free Indeed” and “Love Never Fails” were instant hits with the crowd. Israel, having been in the business for twenty-seven years was wise enough to throw in some of his classic songs like “Moving Forward” where he asked singer/actress Amber Riley to take the mic and sing. Moments like that had the audience on their feet and singing without a care in the world.
Road to Demaskus releases September 21, 2018 with a 12-city tour kicking off in Chicago, IL on September 27, 2018.
