*Oprah Winfrey said in a recent interview that she needed a sign from God before she would ever run for president.
Well, she got it.
The TV maven, who sparked nationwide presidential buzz earlier this year after her inspirational Golden Globes speech, eventually shot down all speculation that she would run against Donald Trump in 2020, saying she prayed over the issue but hadn’t heard back.
“‘God, if you think I’m supposed to run, you gotta tell me, and it has to be so clear that not even I can miss it,’” she told People Magazine at the time. “And I haven’t gotten that yet.”
During her appearance Tuesday on Stephen Colbert’s “Late Show,” Winfrey got her sign — directly from the show’s image of God that appears from time to time on the studio ceiling.
“I’m a huge fan,” God told Oprah, who nearly choked on her water from laughter.
“I hear thou seeketh a sign,” he continued before holding up a sign that read, “Run.”
“Is that clear enough,” he asked.
