*El DeBarge found himself briefly behind bars Friday night after police caught him smashing a man’s windshield with a wrench, according to TMZ.
Law enforcement sources say the 80s crooner got into an argument Friday night in California’s San Fernando Valley and chased a man out of a house, forcing him to retreat to a nearby RV.
DeBarge, with wrench in hand, followed after the man and allegedly smashed the RV’s windshield. The alleged victim called police, and DeBarge was arrested for felony vandalism.
According to TMZ, DeBarge spent a night in jail before posting $20,000 bail.
