Court Warns Tamar Braxton and Vince Herbert to Push Forward with Divorce

Tamar Braxton arrives at Los Angeles International (LAX) Airport

*Tamar Braxton and her husband Vince Herbert have been warned by the court to hurry up with their divorce plans or risk staying married longer than they may want to be.

According to a document obtained by The Blast, Braxton is being warned by the L.A. County court that her divorce against Herbert is at risk of being dismissed over inactivity.

As previously reported, the reality TV star filed for divorce from Herbert back in October 2017 after nine years of marriage. However, he has not responded to the divorce petition, and there’s been no proof that Braxton properly served him with the papers.

The court says she needs to show proof that he was served to acquire a default judgment without his involvement needed.

The 41-year-old singer filed for divorce after claims of domestic violence and infidelity. Braxton’s mother, Evelyn, even went public and described their relationship as “volatile.”

“I love Vince, but I don’t want him to kill my child,” she told TMZ.

She later told TheGrio: “Everybody saw Vince as a knight and shining armor, [but] behind closed doors that’s a horse of another color. I’m tired of [Tamar] being abused and misused.”

Herbert and Braxton share a five-year-old son, Logan.
