*Video of 12-year-old rapper Corey J (Lil C Note) getting arrested in a Georgia mall has triggered an internal police investigation, TMZ reports.
He was arrested during the Oct. 6 incident in Cumberland, GA and charged with felony obstruction, misdemeanor obstruction and criminal trespassing for selling CDs in the mall.
Cops say they previously warned him about selling his music in the mall, but the budding star says he was just there to meet up with other artists when mall security alerted police.

Video shows Corey locked up in the officer’s grip as they argue about why he’s getting hauled off to jail, and when his aunt jumps in to defend him… she’s arrested too. Both were charged with felony obstruction.
Corey believes he was manhandled by the officer and many across social media agree.

One Twitter user said: “This …cop looks so proud of himself…what a d**k”
“Another added: “Inexcusable. This officer should arrest real criminals.”
“Assaulting a little kid is not a proportional response to a potential permit violation. Which is, at the worst, all this could possibly be,” wrote one commenter.
And another noted: “WTF. Destroy a kids life essentially because he is trying to sell his work. That is BS! Is there legal recourse? Who is the racist DA proceeding with this? Brings tears to my eyes.”
“If this child was white we’d be hearing glowing stories about how clever and entrepreneurial he is.”
Do you agree?
Meanwhile, protestors are sitting in at the Cumberland Mall demanding police drop the felony charges against the 12-year-old.
