Talib Kweli Previews Anti-racism Collab Track with Kanye West

*Days after Kanye West distanced himself from the political right… Talib Kweli has shared a preview of a song with the rapper that sees them denouncing white nationalism.

After weeks of praising Donald Trump and then meeting with him inside the Oval Office last month, Ye surprised many earlier this week when he vowed to step away from the political arena.

“My eyes are now wide open and now realize I’ve been used to spread messages I don’t believe in. I am distancing myself from politics and completely focusing on being creative!!!”, he wrote at the time.

Adding: “I support creating jobs and opportunities for people who need them the most, I support prison reform, I support common-sense gun laws that will make our world safer. I support those who risk their lives to serve and protect us and I support holding people who misuse their power accountable. I believe in love and compassion for people seeking asylum and parents who are fighting to protect their children from violence and war.”

“Me and @kanyewest started an album together last January. That same month Candace Owens trolled me on twitter and her followers called me all types of n*****s and monkeys for months,” he wrote.

“Hey Ye it’s probably time to revisit this one… lyrics are timely AF. Welcome back.”
