Kenya Moore Reveals Pregnancy Complication, #BabyDaly May Come Sooner Than Expected

*Fresh off her fairytale-themed baby shower, Kenya Moore has revealed that she and husband Marc Daly may welcome their first child sooner than expected, due to a pregnancy complication, Page Six reports.

Taking to Instagram on Saturday, the former ‘RHAO’ star posted a photo of her swollen feet, along with the caption:

“I made fun of my swollen feet at @cynthiabailey10 party. Next day my tests came back for possible preeclampsia… I gained 17 lbs in ONE week due to severe swelling and water retention, high blood pressure, and excess protein in urine. This is NOT normal,” the mom-to-be explained.

Preeclampsia is described as a “pregnancy complication characterized by high blood pressure and signs of damage to another organ system, most often the liver and kidneys,” according to the Mayo Clinic

“I took more tests. Baby is fine but if they come back higher #babydaly will have to come same day,” Kenya continued.

Preeclampsia “usually begins after 20 weeks of pregnancy in women whose blood pressure had been normal.” Symptoms can include severe headaches, nausea, impaired liver function and upper abdominal pain, the report states.

“To my pregnant sisters please go to your visits and tell the doctor of any drastic changes. Thank God I have great doctors. #babydaly #highrisk #love #family #miraclebaby #kenyamoore #babybump #pregnantover40,” the 47-year-old wrote.

Since confirming her pregnancy in April, Moore has been sharing the journey with fans on social media. Most recently, Kenya revealed that she and Marc have picked out a unisex name for their baby.

“My cousin actually said it a family function once,” Moore told E! News of the name. “Marc and I both looked at each other and we were both like, ‘Oh my God! That’s an amazing name.’ It means so much to us. It has great significance.”
