Tia Mowry and Ed Begley Jr. Join CBS/WBTV’s Comedy ‘Me, Myself & I’ Season One

*With the September 25 premiere of ME, MYSELF & I only a few weeks away (Mondays 9:30/8:30c on CBS), CBS and Warner Bros. Television are proud to announce the addition of guest stars Ed Begley, Jr. and Tia Mowry, who will join the cast on a recurring basis in season one.

Actor and activist Ed Begley, Jr. will play Governor Justin, the future version of Alex Riley’s step-brother. In 1991, the teenage Justin (series regular Christopher Richards) is constantly coming up with half-baked schemes that end in spectacular failure. Fifty-one years later, he’s the Governor of California.

In addition, Tia Mowry (Sister Sister, The Game, Instant Mom) will play Wendy, the wife of Darryl (series regular Jaleel White). Wendy totally relates to present-day Alex Riley’s (series regular Bobby Moynihan) frustration over missing out on his daughter’s formative experiences. For example, if anyone took her daughter to Disneyland for the first time, she’d be furious as well — not realizing that her husband had done just that.

Regarding the casting, executive producer Dan Kopelman said, “When we decided to introduce the character of Governor Justin, Ed [Begley, Jr.] was the only actor we considered.” Regarding Mowry, Kopelman added, “I’ve loved working with Tia in the past and am thrilled to have her be part of my new show.”

ME, MYSELF & I stars Bobby Moynihan (Saturday Night Live) in a comedy about the defining moments in one man’s life over three distinct periods — as a 14-year-old in 1991 (Jack Dylan Grazer – It), at age 40 in present day (Moynihan) and at age 65 in 2042 (John Larroquette – Night Court). Also starring Brian Unger, Jaleel White, Kelen Coleman, Christopher Paul Richards, Mandell Maughan, Skylar Gray, Reylynn Caster and Sharon Lawrence, the series is created by Dan Kopelman, who executive produces alongside Aaron Kaplan and Dana Honor. ME, MYSELF & I is produced by Kapital Entertainment in association with Warner Bros. Television and CBS Television Studios.
