Texas Teen Wanted By Police for ‘Knockout Game’ Attack Caught on Camera (WATCH)

*18-year-old Alejandro Maldonado is wanted by police after he was seen in a disturbing video knocking a man out cold. The criminal act happened outside of Ruchi’s Mexican Grill in Rosenberg, Tx in the Houston area.

The Rosenberg Police Department shared video of the violent incident on their Facebook page, which shows the Texan teen approaching a man from behind. Maldonado then punches the guy in the face and the victim is left lying on the ground unconscious after the attack. Several witnesses run up to the victim as Maldonado walks away.

Police said they don’t believe Maldonado knew the man he attacked, a 30-year-old male who was severely injured and spent several days in the hospital. While a motive for the punch is still unclear, officers believe it may have been a part of the ridiculous “Knockout Game.”

“You think it’s a game, your friends might peer pressure you into doing something, and it’s a serious offense, it’s a felony, it’s an aggravated assault,” Police Lt. Chad Pino told ABC 13. “In this case, he sustained some serious injuries, and it’s not a game. It’s not going to be funny when you’re in prison.”

Police released the video in hopes that it forces the brute to turn himself in.

Alejandro Maldonado is wanted for felony aggravated assault.

As noted by The Sun, a number of one-punch attacks have been linked to the so-called “Knockout Game” in recent years. Back in 2015, a 37-year-old street cleaner was randomly knocked unconscious in Paterson, New Jersey, in a video which surfaced on Facebook. His attacker, Kristian Gonzalez, who was aged 17 at the time, was later jailed for three years.
