*A female sheriff’s deputy employed at a jail in Louisiana was arrested after she admitted smuggling drugs into the facility for an inmate with whom she was “romantically involved,” authorities said.

Oshen Heilman, 25, was arrested upon her arrival at work Tuesday at the Orleans Justice Center, reports WWL-TV. She was hired in May 2016 and had been assigned to a unit where she had regular contact with inmates during her shift.

Heilman, according to court records obtained by the New Orleans Advocate, confessed to bringing ibuprofen and Percocet pills on several occasions to inmate Michael Monroe, an accused murderer currently awaiting trial.

Heilman said she and Monroe had fondled each other’s genitals in the jail, despite the fact that inmates cannot legally consent to sexual activity.

The disgraced deputy also detailed how she smuggled marijuana, pills, cigarettes, dice and an undetermined “powdered white substance” into the jail for rapper Widner “Flow” Degruy, an inmate awaiting trial in the 2015 shooting deaths of two brothers. Degruy, 26, was once considered a protégé of rapper Lil Wayne, according to the newspaper.

Heilman said she also smuggled in cigarettes to a third inmate who is also awaiting trial on murder charges.

She was charged with three counts of sexual battery, five counts of possession with intent to distribute drugs, including marijuana and oxycodone, and other crimes, jail records show.

A judge set bond for Heilman — who has been fired from her job as deputy — at $9,500 late Tuesday, the Times-Picayune reports. An attorney with the Orleans Public Defenders was assigned to represent her while she remains in custody.
