*THOUSAND OAKS, CA – Several NBA stars, coaches, and managers were in attendance at the Nike Basketball Academy held at Sports Academy last week, culminating in an exhibition game broadcasted on ESPNU last Saturday (08-19-17).

Lebron James, Kevin Durant, Kevin Love, Chris Bosh, and Paul George were some of the All-Stars in attendance on Saturday’s game, while NBA legends Ron Harper, Rasheed Wallace, and Gary Payton coached their teams in the finals.
The nation’s top high school and college players from across the US took part in a pro-style training camp at Sports Academy, which many described as a “once in a lifetime experience.”
Players were mentored by the likes of Amare Stoudemire, Bruce Bowen, John Lucas, Brian Shaw, Sam Cassell, Greg Anthony, Natalie Nakase, and Dave Severns. Several NBA coaches, staff, and scouts came to check out the action and take part in the Academy throughout the week.

Sports Academy’s professional basketball courts were featured along with Mindset Development, yoga, cryotherapy, sports performance, and Integrated Sports Medicine, all located on-site at Sports Academy.
Shawn Berina, Director of Basketball, said about Nike Basketball Academy, “It was an amazing week of basketball here at Sports Academy to end the summer. It was an honor to be able to host Nike and these elite level athletes and coaches in our facility.”
