*The “Becky With the Good Hair” phrase found itself trending on Twitter Tuesday night (May 7) after it was revealed as one of the categories on “Jeopardy.”
Less than a month after “Jeopardy” host Alex Trebek tickled fans with his recitation of Kanye West, Desiigner, Lil Wayne and Kendrick Lamar lyrics, the quiz show had the Beyhive buzzing with one of Beyonce’s most famous lines from her “Lemonade” track “Sorry.”
The “Becky with the Good Hair” category featured answers about famous hair – from Mark Twain’s Tom Sawyer, to “Empire,” to “Cheers” and Vanity Fair.
The category reveal appeared to initially throw off contestants Todd Defilippi, Shawn Friend and Alison Maguire-Powell, but the ladies ended up crushing it while Todd looked helpless.
