*“Basketball Wives” star Jackie Christie is finally speaking out amid allegations made by her eldest daughter Ta’Kari Lee in excerpts from her tell-all book, Lights to Her Shadow.
On the season finale of “Basketball Wives,” Evelyn Lozada had an advance copy of the book and read several passages detailing the emotional abuse she claims to have suffered at the hands of Jackie, including being forced to work out, and being called names.
In an interview with Hip Hollywood, Jackie says she doesn’t believe there is a rift between her and Ta’Kari. “Me and my daughter have communication, I love her and she loves me. I posted our communication on Instagram for the world to see.
“But I felt it was time for the world to stop being mislead to stop thinking this is true, because I was quiet.”
