Ivanka Trump Surprises a Connecticut High School and the Parents are Pissed (Video)

*The unannounced visit of Ivanka Trump to a Connecticut high school had parents heated, because they weren’t given the chance to make other arrangements for their children.

Some of the parents at Norwalk Early College Academy at Norwalk High School pulled their children from class on Monday, citing disagreement with Donald Trump’s policies and saying they were troubled they were not told in advance that his daughter (also senior White House adviser) was set to visit.

Trump’s eldest daughter and IBM CEO Ginni Rometty spoke with a handful of students at the academy, which runs on a program developed by IBM to allow students to simultaneously earn a high school diploma, associate degree and develop technical skills.

Karey Fitzgerald, of Norwalk, told News 12 Connecticut she thinks parents should have had the choice of whether to send their child to school when Ivanka was there.
