Beyonce Has the Most ‘Liked’ Instagram Post of 2017

*Beyonce has taken another crown – this time for breaking the Internet with 2017’s most “liked” post on Instagram.

The singer’s February 1 post announcing her pregnancy with twins Sir and Rumi Carter has roughly 11.1 million-plus likes to date, the most this year.

The now-iconic image shows her posing with her baby bump in a burgundy Agent Provocateur bra and Liviara bottoms against a floral backdrop.

Bey also earned the third most-liked photo of the year (10 million-plus likes) of her cradling then-one-month-old newborns, Sir and Rumi.

In the No. 2 spot between Beyonce and her twins is soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo’s IG pic of his girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez, welcoming a baby girl named Alana Martina – earning 11 million-plus likes.

Although Bey has the most-liked Instagram, Selena Gomez remains the most-followed celebrity with 130 million-plus followers. Gomez also received the fourth most-liked photo, with the image showing her holding hands with friend Francia Raisa while lying on hospital beds. The singer revealed in the caption that she had to get kidney transplant surgery.

Ronaldo and Ariana Grande rank as the second and third most-followed celeb with 116 million-plus followers and 115 million-plus followers, respectively. Beyonce comes in at No. 4 with 108 million-plus followers, and Taylor Swift at No. 5 with 104 million-plus followers.

Kim Kardashian West remains in the top 10 of being most-followed at No. 6 with 104 million, with little sister Kylie Jenner trailing behind at No. 7 with 99.5 million followers. Dwayne Johnson, Justin Bieber and Kendall Jenner round out the list with 96 million followers, 93.9 million-plus followers and 84.8 million-plus followers, respectively.

Ronaldo gained the most new followers of 2017 with 30 million-plus, followed by Gomez with 24 million-plus and Grande at 22 million-plus.

The data complied by Instagram reflects findings from Jan. 1 to Nov. 17, 2017.
