*Giving a whole new meaning to “Obamacare,” President Obama stopped the last press briefing of his administration on Friday when a woman in the packed room suffered a medical episode.
“What’s going on?” he asked. “Is somebody not feeling good? We can get our doctors back there to help out. Somebody want to go to my doctor’s office and help them?”
After a minute or so, the president tried to continue…but the woman’s condition apparently got worse. That’s when POTUS stopped the briefing cold and waited for someone to get his personal doctor on the case.
Watch below:
Several more minutes went by before Dr. Ronny Jackson — physician to the president — came to the rescue.
After the briefing, MSNBC’s Chris Jansing offered more details: “She did faint twice. I saw her when she was laid out on the ground after she fainted the first time. We tried to help her in the chair and get her some water and she fainted again, but we understand she is being well taken care of by the president’s physician.”
Of course, Twitter couldn’t resist weighing in:
Obama watching a sick person but having little ability to intervene or help is some too on-the-nose foreshadowing

If you like Obama’s doctor, you can keep Obama’s doctor.
