*Here she is, again.
It was only a matter of time before someone voiced opposition to the speech given by actor/activist Jesse Williams at the BET Awards. And it’s no surprise that the first in line is TV host Tomi Lahren, who made headlines in February for bringing up Jay Z’s drug dealing past while trashing Beyonce’s Super Bowl Halftime performance as stirring “a battle of the races.”
In targeting Jesse Williams, Lahren accused BET of “race baiting” its audience and “perpetuating a war on cops.” She captioned her video on Facebook: “Was it about black entertainment or bashing white people and law enforcement?”
She threw Williams in with Beyonce, Jada Pinkett Smith and Al Sharpton as folks who promote racial tension, and mentioned that a lot of white people also fought against slavery during the civil war.
She was all over the place.
