*Dang, this Luke Cage dude is one bad ass brotha! To say fans are tuning in to see him do his thing is an understatement. And that seems to be the problem.
Apparently the Marvel Comics super hero from the hood is so in demand that Netflix servers went down for over two hours on Saturday.

The interruption in service comes one day after the series on the service debuted its first season.
While Netflix did not respond to requests for comment and they also didn’t reveal viewing statistics, but speculation online blamed the disruption on the popularity of “Luke Cage” this weekend.
Got some heroes at #Netflix fixing things. They’re all over it. Meantime, keep this in mind. #LukeCage pic.twitter.com/eUPkE8dH5H

“Luke Cage” showrunner Cheo Coker himself even postulated the show’s superstreaming strength:
DId y’all break NETFLIX ? #LukeCage

Meanwhile, Netflix didn’t dally around. There were on it from jump with this tweet:

The outage, which began just before 12:00 PM Pacific time, appears to have primarily affected the United States and the UK. By the way, as well as adding “Luke Cage,” Netflix made available several classics to its library on Saturday, including “Titanic” and “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.”
