*According to a report from ESPN, Denver Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib suffered a gunshot wound to the leg and was treated at a Dallas hospital Sunday.
Broncos vice president of public relations Patrick Smyth confirmed that Talib had received treatment for a gunshot wound to one of his legs, and that the team has talked to Talib, who is OK.
A spokesman at Medical City Hospital confirmed Sunday afternoon that Talib, 30, was treated at the hospital and was released.
According to multiple reports, Talib was injured at a nightclub in Dallas early Sunday morning, where he has an offseason home.
Specifically, DallasNews.com is reporting that a  customer pulled a gun and shot one person about 2:45 a.m. inside the V Live club. Another person was wounded outside the club as the fight continued.  Later reports say a third person was shot but information is still being gathered.
Talib has had several altercations and run ins with the law over the years.
In 2009, he was jailed on charges of simple battery and resisting arrest without violence after he was accused of punching a taxi driver in St. Petersburg, Fla.
In 2011, he was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after he and his mother were accused of shooting at his sister’s boyfriend during a domestic dispute. The charge was later dropped.
In April of 2015, Talib and his brother Yaqub were investigated by the Dallas police for their alleged involvement in an aggravated assault incident at Club Luxx. Â The police report alleged the brothers got into a physical altercation with a third person and that a Luxx employee fired a gun into the air to break up the fight. Â Authorities dropped the investigation a month later and no charges were made.
The Broncos are scheduled to travel, as a team, to Washington, D.C., Monday to be honored at the White House for their Super Bowl 50 win. It is unknown if Talib will still make the trip.
