The Good Times Continue for Stephen Curry

*It’s been a very successful couple of years for Stephen Curry.

Having led the Golden State Warriors to their first NBA Championship in 40 years, earning MVP status after a sensational campaign, the 27-year-old is on course to record an even more impressive season this year.

Indeed, it is a campaign that has made him an extremely wealthy young man.

With the Warriors nearing the end of a regular season in which they are at the time of writing at 56-6, it’s looking as though Curry and the rest of his team-mates are in great shape heading into the playoffs.

Curry’s performances over the past couple of years certainly have not gone unnoticed. As well as being named last season’s MVP, something he is expected to repeat this year, the former seventh overall draft pick has become extremely popular with brands looking to latch onto one of the best players of his generation. JPMorgan Chase have been the latest giant corporation to attach themselves to the Golden State captain, agreeing a multi-year endorsement deal with the point guard just a couple of months after announcing they had secured naming rights for the Warriors’ new arena which is expected to open in early 2019.

It’s been a lucrative few months for Curry, who signed a three-year deal with Brita water at the end of 2015. That deal added another endorsement to a list that already contains the likes of Under Armour, Kaiser Permanente, Unilever’s Degree, JBL, Muscle Milk, Fanatics and now JPMorgan Chase. Expected to make around $12 million away from the court this year, Curry is wasting little time in establishing himself as one of the most marketable players in the NBA, chasing down the likes of LeBron James and Kevin Durant at the top of the list of highest-earning players in the league. Curry’s form this season certainly won’t harm his earning power.

Curry has been the undisputed player of the year so far and the fact the Warriors are now targeting an NBA record of 72 regular-season wins this year has been down in large to the franchise’s captain. Currently leading the NBA scoring charts with an outstanding average of 30.7 points per game, a lot of the Bet365 Sports Betting news has been covering Curry’s potential to go on and be named MVP for a second straight year. Having made a modest start to life in the NBA, the past two seasons have seen the point guard stand out as the best player in the league.

While the likes of Klay Thompson and Draymond Green have been important to Golden State’s success this season, it’s been their captain and star player who has helped turn this franchise from also-rans into one that is now on track to retain the NBA championship. The Cleveland Cavaliers and the San Antonio Spurs might both be capable of upsetting the odds during the postseason but, with Curry producing miracles on a regular basis, we could be set to see just why the Warriors are being labelled as one of the best teams in the modern age.
