*After folks concluded that Zendaya and New York Giants receiver Odell Beckham Jr. must be in a relationship, since they attended a Grammy party together with her father and posed for pics, the singer’s daddy famously told TMZ that Beckham’s presence with his daughter was more like an “audition” than a “relationship.”
“When you see my daughter out on a date without me, [then] it’s a relationship,” explained her father, Kazembe Ajamu Coleman.

Now, Zendaya has come forward to clarify her dad’s clarification of the outing with Beckham.
“A couple of things, first of all it wasn’t really a date. We went to some events together, because we’re friends. We were with a group, we were with multiple people. I was with my stylist and everything like that,” she said, according to PerezHilton.” Even if it does progress, you gotta go through my dad first. Just because you’re in the NFL, you killin’ stuff, that doesn’t mean you get to skip past pops. He’s not going to allow that to happen. He’s auditioning! Auditioning.”
