*Ava DuVernay is taking her talents to Disney.
The acclaimed director of “Selma” will helm a movie adaptation of the Madeleine L’Engle book “A Wrinkle in Time” for the studio, reports TheWrap. The story revolves around a young girl, Meg Murry, whose government-scientist father disappears while working on a mysterious project.
DuVernay will collaborate with “Frozen” writer Jennifer Lee, who will help adapt the book.
The project is expected to begin filming later this year.
