*The picture of Beyoncé’s dancer holding up sign saying “Justice 4 Mario Woods” was a move orchestrated by the #BlackLivesMatter movement without Beyonce’s knowledge, according to the Daily Mail.

At the end of her performance, five of her dancers were videoed and photographed holding up a “Justice 4 Mario Woods” sign in honor of the 26-year-old black man who was a suspect in a stabbing when he was fatally shot more than 20 times by San Francisco police.

According to the Daily Mail, two Black Lives Matter activists won Super Bowl tickets from a radio contest and smuggled in 12 copies of the “Justice 4 Mario Woods” signs in their underwear. They then reportedly “chased after [Beyonce’s] dancers to persuade them” to hold up the signs.

One ended up with the dancer seen in the photo.

Daily Mail Online caught up with the two activists, Rheema Calloway and Ronnishia Johnson, both 25:

After being bussed to the stadium, they were patted down by security guards at the gates and were surprised when officials did not confiscate the 12 posters from their bags and clothing.

Rheema said: “We were led onto the [field] at half time through a tunnel and it was crazy and breathtaking. The noise from the crowd made me feel like I was Beyoncé.

We had never been inside the stadium even though we are local women. But we are both Beyoncé fans. We were behind Beyoncé’s dancers and we were walked around them and to the sideline to watch the show.”
