*Umm, er, remember the story we brought you regarding “Saved by the Bell” actress Lark Voorhies marrying some dude named Jimmy Green she reportedly at a networking event?
Well, guess what? New info that’s surfaced about Green’s past includes a 2012 arrest warrant for disorderly conduct and threatening to intimidate in Tucson, Arizona, according to court documents.
“We’re looking into the matter and are obviously concerned about these allegations,” Voorhies’ rep Jennifer Wolfson tells PEOPLE.
About a year ago, Voorhies, 41, and Green, 31, met at a networking event in the Los Angeles area. They immediately started dating.
“We have known it was meant to be for a while now and are so happy we found each other,” Voorhies told PEOPLE in an exclusive statement before the news emerged about her husband. “I look forward to all the wonderful moments and memories we will create together. Thank you so much for all the well wishes and we appreciate them indeed!”
Voorhies’ mother Tricia knew about the wedding but did not attend. Still, she hopes Green proves to be a good choice for her daughter.
“She says he makes her happy,” she tells PEOPLE.
In late 2012, Tricia revealed to PEOPLE that her daughter was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, which Lark denies.
“Overall, she’s doing better but she still has her challenges,” Tricia says.
