Published worldwide through Amazon, in time for Valentine’s Day on February 14, 2015, the 264 page book offers narratives by Moseley, poems of inspiration, and pictures that correspond.
Moseley takes the reader on her journey that started when manager of multi-platinum selling R&B group Dru Hill, Kevin Peck, called to hire her as a public relations strategist and consultant through her company Freelance Associates (founded in 1993). Working closely with Peck and one of Dru Hill’s lead singers, SisQo (aka Mark Andrews), she developes a strategy that gets them the attention of national playwright David E. Talbert whom had just signed a movie deal with Fox Searchlight Pictures; Jeff Clanagan at Codeblack, a movie to DVD distributer, whom had just signed a movie production deal with Lionsgate Films; she was able to get SisQo signed to one of the largest talent agencies in the world (Wilhelmina); she submitted a proposal to L’Oreal to pitch SisQo’s own signature blond color; moderated a video audition tape to Oprah Winfrey, and sent a sponsorship proposal to cell phone provider Cricket to sponsor a six-month national tour she coordinated for them.
“Journey to Love: A Book of Poems” chronicalizes that experience and how it led her to find a Love she was not looking for. Through narratives, poems, and pictures Eunice takes the reader on her inspiring, emotional and sometimes dangerous journey to get back to that Love. During the journey she gives her philosophies on life, and poems that will inspire and make you think. She also provides the reader with a glimpse into Loves’ life.
Freelance Associates is headquartered in Long Beach, California on Lime Avenue off the 405 Freeway, with offices also in Baltimore, (www.thepulseofentertainment.com/FreelanceAssociates.html). There she provides public relations and business management strategies for small to medium size companies, and she consults them through the implementation of the strategy. She is also Promotions Director (at-large) for The Baltimore Times where she has worked since 1986 in various management positions (i.e., Sales, Account, Business, Entertainment Editor and Promotions). In 1999 she founded a national entertainment conference, “Uplifting Minds II” (www.UpliftingMinds2.com), as her give-back to the community project that offers to young aspiring artists (vocal, songwriting and dance) free information on the entertainment business from a panel of industry professionals, and a platform to showcase their talents. The free one day event is held annually in Baltimore at Security Square Mall (April) and in Hollywood, CA (October) at the Celebrity Centre. The Baltimore native holds a Bachelors degree in Telecommunications from Morgan State University, a Masters in Management Technology/Public Relations, and an M.B.A. from University of Maryland’s online college (UMUC). She is currently in a Doctorate program seeking a Ph.D. in Management – Leadership Organizational Change at Walden University. Moseley recently accepted a contractual teaching position at California State University, Los Angeles (Cal State U) in Management to instruct in Business, Management, Marketing and Public Relations.
