*Last weekend was not a good one for Mike Epps, who got busted by his wife Mechelle for trying to direct message another woman on Twitter!
The situation went down Saturday (Aug. 15) when Epps tweeted a woman named @CeciCitra.
Tweets screengrabbed by the New York Daily News captured the conversation that began with Epps writing, “Hey. “Are you on ig.”
From there, the woman mentioned to Epps that she was no longer attached to Instagram.
“Wasn’t getting the likes I deserve,” she replied.
The woman’s response ended up motivating Epps to tell her to “DM me.”
The back and forth soon involved Mechelle Epps, who had jokes for the occasion as she tweeted a pair of eyeball emojis at her husband and @CeciCitra.

Epps flirtation and Mechelle’s involvement mark a new incident for the couple, who were married in in July 2006, after meeting on the set of the movie “The Fighting Temptations.” The couple have two girls together, while Epps has two daughters from a previous relationship.
An hour after Mechelle chimed in, the woman put Epps on blast by posting a screen shot of Epps’ profile, which showed that she had been blocked by the comic.
Needless to say, Epps exchanging tweets with another woman and getting caught by his wife caught fire on social media with much reaction among folks. Check out a few of the thoughts on the situation below:
