*Memphitz lost a defamation lawsuit against K. Michelle as well as Mona Scott-Young’s Monami Entertainment and VH1. He claimed they falsely accused him of physical abuse and embezzlement on “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta,” according to AllHipHop.
K. talked about a previous abusive relationship on the show. He was never named, but blogs figured she was accusing Memphitz of domestic violence.
He admitted to some of his threats and abuse. He said he had a physical confrontation with K. in a Memphis hotel in 2009. Also, he threatened her son via text messages.
There were details about the record executive putting a pillow against her mouth, justifying why she thought he was trying to kill her.
Memphitz failed at proving he wasn’t a public figure and his name was defamed. Neither K. Michelle or Mona Scott-Young commented on the case … so far.
