*Did Nick Cannon know Mariah Carey had a dis record in the works when they reunited for Easter?
While no names were mentioned, it appears that Mimi’s new track “Infinity” come for her ex-husband, hard. She sings about a former love who is now “broke and alone.” She adds: “Boy you actin’ so corny like Fritos / Wouldn’t have none of that without me, though.”
She also zings with: “Why you tryin’ to play like you’re so grown? / Everything you own boy you still owe.
“Infinity” – which dropped on iTunes, Spotify and YouTube – marks a reunion between Carey and Epic CEO Antonio “L.A.” Reid who helped put together best-selling album “The Emancipation of Mimi.”
The compilation album and new single are part of a larger Carey comeback effort that involves her “#1 to Infinity” show at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Carey will eventually follow up this lyric video with an official video directed by her longtime friend Brett Ratner.
The entire Mariah Carey “#1 To Infinity” album featuring all 18 of Carey’s number one Billboard hits drops on May 1.
