*Ellen DeGeneres is taking her “Heads Up” segments to another level in 2016, and she’s putting her pal Loni Love in the driver’s seat.

Cable channel HLN will expand those segments into a half-hour game show, to air Monday through Friday with Love as host.  She’ll split this gig with her regular co-hosting duties on the syndicated daytime talk show “The Real.”

DeGeneres serves as one of the executive producers of “Heads Up,” which will pair a contestant with a celebrity to correctly identify as many words as possible, based on clues from their teammate in categories ranging from movies and songs to actions, accents, body parts and more.

HLN, CNN’s sister station, ordered 65 half-hour episodes of the game show from Warner Brothers’ Telepictures. They’ll begin running in the first quarter of next year.
