The duo will perform their Oscar-nominated song “Glory” at the 87th Academy Awards, Page Six reports. The tune, which is from the best picture-nominated historical civil rights drama “Selma,” is among the five nominees for best song. In addition to “Glory,” the best song nominees include “Grateful,” from “Beyond the Lights”; “Everything Is Awesome,” from “The Lego Movie”; “I’m Not Gonna Miss You,” from “Glen Campbell … I’ll Be Me”; and “Lost Stars,” from “Begin Again.”

Taking to Twitter, Legend announced his upcoming performance, tweeting “I’m so honored to announce that @TheAcademy invited me and @common to perform at the #Oscars on Feb. 22nd!”

The 87th Academy Awards will be held Feb. 22 in Los Angeles. In addition to Legend and Common’s performance, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced Tuesday that  Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez are writing an original number for Oscars host Neil Patrick Harris. The songwriters won the best-song Oscar for best song last year for “Let It Go,” the popular song from the hit animated film “Frozen.”
