Sheen magazine is celebrating 10 years of existence and beauty with cover girl Eva Marcille, who looks divine on the January/February issue.
Inside the issue features style tips inspired by the flawless and cutting edge beauty of such stars as Meagan Good, Sonequa Martin-Green and Kerry Washington. Plus, Master Colorist and Celebrity Stylist Mychael Michelle tells readers how to achieve vivacious hair color, similar to that of her clients.
In honor of the Obama’s last year in the White House, the issue also replicates one of Michelle Obama’s iconic looks and highlight her graceful style throughout the years.
With Valentine’s Day around he corner, the publication nominates Morris Chestnut as leader of the pack for the #SHEENTeam Valentine’s Day Celeb Crush. His “Rosewood” co-star, Gabrielle Dennis, also opens up about her thriving career, and actress Tamala Jones shares an update about her health.
The Year of the Woman January/February issue of SHEEN Magazine lands on newsstands December 29.
Meanwhile, Eva, who plays Tara in the series “Born Again Virgin,” spoke to Roland Martin this summer about the scripted series, which chronicles three 30-something women and the challenges they face while attempting to navigate the dating world.
“Anybody over the age of 30 has been a born again virgin at least once,” Eva told Martin. “ Women are usually most likely the voluntary ones and men are the involuntary born again virgins.”
She added that the fun thing about the series is that it “allows the cast and audience to explore the issues surrounding sex.”
The midseason premiere of “Born Again Virgin,” staring Danielle Nicolet, Eva Marcille, Tank, and Brely Evans, aired Dec. 8 on TV One.
