*S|2 — the gallery of Sotheby’s Contemporary Art Department — has recruited rapper Drake as a curator, reports the New York Post.
His show will “explore the dialogue between music and art” and feature work by the likes of Jean-Michel Basquiat, Glenn Ligon, Kara Walker and Kehinde Wiley.
Drake will also select songs to pair with each work. The music will be available at listening stations around the gallery through Beats headphones.
More artists in the show, opening April 12, include Nick Cave, Rashid Johnson, Wangechi Mutu and David Hammons.
