*We hope V. Stiviano saved some of that money her sugar daddy, Donald Sterling, gave her over the years ’cause she’s about to be giving most of it to the former LA Clippers owner’s wife.
On Tuesday a judge in Los Angeles ruled that Shelly Sterling is owed $2.6 million by Stiviano. Specifically, Judge Richard Fruin Jr. awarded Shelly Sterling most of the nearly $3 million she had sought.
As far as Shelly Sterling was concerned, the money used by her husband to buy V. Stiviano a house, luxury cars and stocks was her community property.
Stiviano’s legal team unsuccessfully argued the gifts were made when Donald and Shelly Sterling were separated and that Shelly Sterling couldn’t try and get from Stiviano, a third party as far as they were concerned.
Obviously that didn’t fly with Judge Fruin whose ruling comes nearly a year after Stiviano’s recording of Donald Sterling making racist remarks got him bounced from the NBA as the owner of the Los Angeles Clippers.
Shelly Sterling’s lawyers used other recordings to show he bought Stiviano a house, a Ferrari and other things.
In the recordings on Stiviano’s iPhone, she and Donald Sterling, are heard discussing how to shield gifts from Shelly.
“The truth is that everything that I have, you’ve given me from your heart without me begging or asking or throwing myself all over you,” Stiviano said in snippet played in court.
Hmm, looks like Stiviano’s scheme of recording her convos with the now 80-year-old billionaire came back to bite her in the you know what.
Even though she doesn’t need the money, score one for ol’ gal Shelly!
