The City of Detroit has released a special TV series titled ‘D Style: The Style of Detroit’ that is airing on local Detroit TV channels. The three-part series spanning the ’60’s, ’70’s and ’80’s, documents the influence of the auto industry, and Motown music on the culture of Detroit.
Produced by Phylecia Wilson, and Sanders ‘Skip’ Bryant part two of the series focuses on the music and fashion of the seventies.
