*Cissy Houston is speaking out about the condition of her granddaughter Bobbi Kristina Brown and the news still isn’t good.
It’s been more than three months since Bobbi K. was found face-down and unresponsive in her bathtub and is showing no signs of improvement in her condition, Houston says.
“[Bobbi Kristina] is the same. She’s not progressing at all,” the late Whitney Houston’s mother told Kevin Frazier of “Entertainment Tonight” on Saturday.
Houston added that it’s “very difficult” to see her granddaughter in her current condition. However, Houston added, she’s “ready” for whatever fate her granddaughter ultimately meets.
“She’s not gone yet, but whatever the Lord decides, I’m ready for her,” Houston said. “Because I have nothing to do with that. That’s his job. It’s his territory, and I understand it.”
Cissy Houston was also asked about Whitney’s 2012 death. She responded:
“It’s very difficult for me. But I’ll make it. I made it through [Whitney,] I’ll make it.”
On Saturday, we also reported that Bobbi Kristina’s father, Bobby Brown and Pat Houston, Bobbi Kristina’s aunt, were granted co-guardianship of her.
During her interview with Frazier, Cissy Houston also addressed the co-guardianship issue. She remarked that the outcome of the guardianship hearing “came alright.”
“It came alright. It was fine . We’re a family that works together for the best. You want the best for whomever or everybody we can.”
