Kimora Lee Simmons makes daytime comeback on ‘Tamron Hall’
Fashion mogul and reality TV royalty Kimora Lee Simmons made her daytime return on the Thursday (12-04-25) episode of “Tamron Hall.” The episode marked her first major interview promoting her new reality series, “Kimora: Back in the Fab Lane.”
The E! series, which premiered Dec. 2 at 10 p.m., is a fresh take on her original 2007–2011 hit “Life in the Fab Lane.” Now, the mom of five is back, giving fans an unfiltered look into her modern-day chaos—and fabulosity.
‘Back in the Fab Lane’ features family, fashion, and full-blown drama
The show follows Kimora as she juggles her Baby Phat empire, business ventures, and raising five kids solo. That includes daughters Ming Lee, 25, and Aoki Lee, 23 (with Russell Simmons), and sons Kenzo, 16 (with Djimon Hounsou), Gary, 15 (adopted), and Wolfe, 10 (with Tim Leissner).
Expect scenes of sports games, modeling gigs, business meetings, and the occasional sibling spat. Kimora admitted she lured her grown kids back to TV with promises of perks—and a fresh, grown-up perspective.

Kimora says she’s “curious” about dating again
When asked about her love life, Kimora kept it real. As a three-time divorcee, she’s open to dating but not pressed.
“I’m curious about dating,” she told Tamron. “But my focus is on my kids, my work, and my peace.”
With five kids and multiple businesses, romance might be on the back burner—but she’s definitely not closing the door.
“I love having a lot of kids,” says Kimora
Kimora lit up while talking about her family. She described motherhood as her biggest joy—even on chaotic days.
“I love having a lot of kids,” she said proudly. “Whether it’s cheering at football games or navigating college life with my daughters, it’s all worth it.”
The show gives a raw peek into her parenting style, and viewers can expect plenty of real moments with her blended, beautiful brood.
Baby Phat revival blends Y2K nostalgia with Gen Z energy
Kimora also teased new Baby Phat releases during the show. The Y2K-era brand, known for bedazzled tees and velour tracksuits, relaunched in 2019 and continues strong.
She’s expanded into beauty, Puma collabs, and plus-size fashion, with daughters Ming and Aoki involved in campaigns. Recent drops feature heritage pieces, puffer jackets, and size-inclusive designs.
Kimora’s legacy is fashion, family, and philanthropy
Beyond the glam, Kimora is still giving back. She spoke about her ongoing work as a Goodwill Ambassador for Smile Train, which provides cleft palate surgeries to children around the world.
“Back in the Fab Lane” isn’t just about fashion—it’s a full-circle look at her growth as a mogul, mom, and mentor.
