*Music producer Kevin McCall has accused Chris Brown of owing him $3 million in unpaid song royalties, reigniting tensions between the two artists.
As SandraRose.com reports, the claim surfaced during McCall’s emotional podcast appearance, where he shared that he’s struggling financially, relying on EBT and unable to meet his $2,000 monthly child support payments to ex, model Eva Marcille. “I was supposed to get paid for my work, but none of it came through,” McCall said, referencing his production and writing credits on several of Brown’s hits.
McCall, 40, known for his work on Brown’s “Deuces” (2010) and “Strip” (2011), explained that he had asked his former collaborator for $25,000 in assistance. McCall also pointed out that Brown recently earned $90 million from his world tour. “I’m not even trippin’ though. I got an EBT card in my pocket,” he said, showing his SNAP card before breaking down in tears.

As the viral clip gained attention, rapper Young Thug expressed sympathy for McCall’s situation. Posting on X, formerly Twitter, he offered to help, writing, “Kevin McCall hit me my n####, I’ll give u the 25k u need, and i no CB would give it to u also bro he a real one. N##### is busy sometimes brada.”
However, after learning more about McCall and Brown’s long-standing issues—including past public insults and accusations—Thug retracted his offer, posting, “Sorry Mc lol ain no this was all happening kid.”
Brown quickly responded to McCall’s claims on Instagram, calling him “broke” and “a troll.” In his message, Brown wrote, “Remember this: you can’t walk across a burnt bridge,” adding, “And you know what’s funnier than a troll? A BROKE ONE.”

Between 2014 and 2016, McCall had repeatedly accused Brown of withholding royalties and pleaded for a meeting to resolve their disputes. Brown, in turn, mocked him publicly, referring to McCall as a “bottom feeder” and even issuing threats online. McCall previously confirmed in a resurfaced interview that he blew an $8 million fortune.
