New Tupac Documentary Explores Theory That Rapper Faked His Death – VIDEO

*A new Tupac documentary is set to explore the ongoing theory that the iconic rapper faked his death.

Filmmaker Rick Boss is set to discuss the rumors in the film initially titled 2Pac: The Great Escape From UMC. The doc will highlight the events of the rapper’s Las Vegas shooting in 1996 and a supposed escape plot to New Mexico, where he currently lives among a Native American tribe, Page Six reports.

The documentary suggests Pac was aware of the planned hit on him, which allowed him to use a body double on the night if the shooting, Boss told KTNV.

“This is not a fiction. This is facts through certain people I know,” Boss told the station.

According to the film, Pac has been living under the protection of the Navajo tribe because authorities cannot enter tribal land without permission.

“This movie is about Tupac actually escaping from University Medical Center here in Vegas and relocating to New Mexico [and] getting protection from the Navajo tribe,” said Boss.

“When certain FBI agencies are looking for you, they are going to block the airport,” the filmmaker continued. “So you can’t travel out so the best way to escape is through helicopter, private helicopter to another state.”

Boss says Pac’s family “is aware of the movie and they’re okay with the title so that should tell you more or less what’s going on.”

Tupac will be played in the movie by Richard Garcia, who believes the rapper is indeed dead.

“He’s gone but he lives on,” the actor said. “Like you said, like his mother said, he lives on through all of us and through our memories and through our hearts and through our tribute.”
