*Here’s some lightweight drama that went down involving Niecy Nash on the red carpet at the Emmy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday.
It seems syndicated radio host Tanya Hart who hosts “Hollywood Live with Tanya Hart” for American Urban Radio Networks (AURN) and is the first African American and first woman to head the prestigious Hollywood organization, “The Caucus” is calling out Nash’s public relations person for not letting her talk to black media outlets on the Emmy red carpet!
By the by, Tanya is a LEGEND in media circles and was the first talk show host on BET, was a former host on the E! Network and a regular on networks like CNN, HLN, etc. In other words, Tanya Hart is not deserving of the shabby and disrespectful treatment by Niecy Nash’s publicist.

In any event, other black high profile celebs like Anika Noni Rose, LaVar Burton and others – including young Miles Brown (“Black-ish”) and superstar John Voight – didn’t have a problem spending a little time with Tanya on the red carpet.
