*Akon recently addressed Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs drama and the music mogul’s multiple civil lawsuits over alleged sexual assault.
“I would like to say just pray for the man,” Akon told TMZ when the outlet caught up with him at Los Angeles International Airport.
“God knows best, whatever’s happening, God’s dealing with it and that’s the best thing to say,” the singer added, Complex reports. “But it is very unfortunate that things in this business are always being exposed in some ways and I think things could be done differently.”
Akon noted that 2024 “is the year of truth.”
“I think this is a matter for God and he’s continue to deal with it how he’s been dealing with it,” he said, telling TMZ that “things are gonna be exposed.”
“Everyone’s gonna have to answer for what we do on this earth,” Akon said.
“We all have issues, problems, skeletons, and then we also have rewards and achievements and everything of that nature,” he continued. “For the most part, I just believe that God is dealing with you you gotta let the process flow.”
Meanwhile, TMZ caught up with Ray J, who shared his thoughts on the Diddy controversy.
The singer was asked why Puff Daddy’s industry colleagues have chosen to remain silent about his legal situation.
“I think a lot of people are just trying to understand it,” Ray J said. “Understand what is and what’s not, ya know?”
“It’s still a big question mark,” he added. “Pray for everybody, though. Prayers go up for everybody.”
