*Rymir Satterthwaite, who claims to be JAY-Z’s illegitimate son, has criticized the rapper’s response to recent rape allegations.
Satterthwaite accused Jay-Z of deflecting instead of addressing the disturbing accusations against him. He also expressed frustration over Jigga’s continued refusal to resolve their ongoing paternity dispute. As we reported, JAY-Z is taking legal action against attorney Tony Buzbee for allegedly pressuring potential clients to make false claims in lawsuits.
Buzbee’s latest filing alleges that the hip-hop star sexually assaulted a teenage girl at an afterparty in New York City following the MTV Video Music Awards. The lawsuit was originally filed in October, and initially included Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs as a defendant and referred to JAY-Z as “Celebrity A.” However, on December 8, the case was refiled to identify him as a defendant. Satterthwaite criticized Jay for responding to the allegations with “deflection and attacks.”
In a statement to the Daily Mail, he said, “My late mother, Wanda, was just 16 years old when she became pregnant with me, and for years I have sought clarity about my identity. This is not about greed or spectacle—it’s about uncovering the truth and ensuring all parties are held accountable.”
Since 2010, Satterthwaite has been attempting to have JAY-Z acknowledge paternity, leading to multiple legal battles. However, he has lost each case.
“Despite my efforts, Mr. Carter has never once written a letter to me to address these claims – whether to deny or acknowledge paternity or to address why his attorneys committed this fraud,” Satterthwaite explained.
“If Mr. Carter values the ideals of honor and protecting children, as he claims in his letter, he should step forward with transparency,” he continued. “He continues to deflect and avoid. I remain committed to seeking the truth and justice for myself, my mother all those who deserve answers and accountability.”
