*Michael Strahan’s daughter daughter, Isabella Strahan, revealed her brain tumor diagnosis in a new interview on “Good Morning America” on Thursday.
People reports that the 19-year-old is undergoing treatment after being diagnosed with a common malignant tumor known as medulloblastoma.
“I’m feeling good. Not too bad,” the college student said during the GMA interview with her father by her side.
Next month, Isabella will begin chemotherapy at Duke Children’s Hospital & Health Center in Durham, North Carolina.
“That’s my next step. I’m ready for it to start and be one day closer to being over,” she told GMA co-anchor Robin Roberts. “I’m very excited for this whole process to wrap. But you just have to keep living every day, I think, through the whole thing.”

Isabella received the distressing news about her health condition in late October and underwent surgery to remove the mass on Oct. 27, per People.
“I literally think that, in a lot of ways, I’m the luckiest man in the world, because I’ve got an amazing daughter,” Michael said in the interview with Roberts. “I know she’s going through it, but I know that we’re never given more than we can handle and that she is going to crush this.”
Michael shares Isabella and her twin sister Sophia with his second wife, Jean Muggli. The former NFL star has two older adult children with his first wife, Wanda Hutchins.
Isabella has teamed with Duke Children’s Hospital & Health Center to document her journey in a new YouTube series.
“It’s been like, two months of keeping it quiet, which is definitely difficult. I don’t wanna hide it anymore ’cause it’s hard to always keep in,” she said on GMA.
“I hope to just kind of be a voice, and be [someone] who maybe [those who] are going through chemotherapy or radiation can look at,” Isabella added.
