*Gypsy Rose Blanchard hasn’t been out of prison for a week, and she’s already clapping back at trolls on social media.
It seems the haters are jealous that Blanchard, 32, is happily married and enjoying a healthy sex life with her husband, Ryan Scott Anderson. She responded to negative comments on posts about Anderson, whom she met in 2020 and married in 2022, Complex reports. Many critics are convinced that he only wed her for clout.
“Ryan, don’t listen to the haters,” Blanchard commented on a throwback Instagram post from Anderson. “I love you, and you love me. We do not owe anyone anything. Our family is who matters. If you get likes and good comments great, if you get hate then whatever because THEY DON’T MATTER. I love you💕 besides they jealous because you are rocking my world every night…yeah I said it, the D is fire🔥 happy wife happy life.”
Anderson, 37, responded, “Who said I gave a damn about what these jealous people say anyway,” he wrote, adding, “now come get it Baby…”
Blanchard pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in 2016 for her role in killing her abusive mother, Clauddine “Dee Dee” Blanchard. She was sentenced to 10 years in prison as part of a plea deal.

Blanchard was released early from prison last week and instantly became an overnight internet star.
“If I had another chance to redo everything, I don’t know if I would go back to when I was a child and tell my aunts and uncles that I’m not sick and mommy makes me sick,” Gypsy told People ahead of her early prison release. “Or, if I would travel back to just the point of that conversation with Nick and tell him, ‘You know what, I’m going to go tell the police everything.’ I kind of struggle with that,” she admitted.
Gypsy testified during the murder trial that she was forced to undergo multiple unnecessary surgeries, and her mother made her use medical devices, such as a feeding tube, an oxygen tank, and a wheelchair, Complex reports.
Dee Dee sought out doctors who believed her claim that Gypsy’s medical records were destroyed in Hurricane Katrina. She was able to capitalize off her deceptive and manipulative tactics financially. Dee Dee received donations from charities such as the Make-a-Wish Foundation and Habitat for Humanity.
Blanchard was arrested shortly after her mother’s killing and confessed that she convinced her then-boyfriend, Nicholas Godejohn, to stab Dee Dee as she slept.
Blanchard ultimately pleaded guilty to second-degree murder. Nicholas, who stabbed Dee Dee 17 times, was sentenced to life without the possibility of parole.
Blanchard was released on parole after serving seven years in prison on Dec. 28.
